Clogged toilets are one of the main reasons that people actually figure out that they may have a plumbing issue. Obviously, there are different reasons as to why toilets or even drains could get clogged up. As we have said in other areas throughout the site at times it is pretty obvious why the toilet was clogged up and so that may not require that we come in and give it a look. The easiest way in our book though to be able to spot this type of issue would have to be if the toilet or even the sink is clogging up for no apparent reason. When they are only getting what we could call natural water flow!
Don’t Go Searching For Drano
A lot of times people will try different strategies to try and unclog their toilets or drains. One of the more popular ones is to go to the store and buy chemicals such as Drano that you can pour into the toilet or down the drain. These chemicals will essentially lubricate the drain making easier on whatever is clogging up the drain to flow through. So, it may be a solution to the problem. The real issue is that it could also only provide temporary relief!
Going In On Your Own
There are a lot of people that are very proactive with their plumbing needs. They take out the tool kit and they loosen up part of the drain under the sink to try and relieve a lot of the wastes or pressure that could be building up. We are not completely against these types of solutions. The problem is a lot of people will consider them the only solution. In the worst case scenario once you have tried everything you can give us a call!
Older Toilets & Drains
When was the last time that you actually went through and cleaned your drains? Better yet, when was the last time that you switched the toilets in your home? A lot of people won’t be able to even remember if they originally bought the toilets that are in place at their home right now. If you have older appliances you are more likely to be facing problems from time to time. Getting them checked out every once in a while can help prevent the need for major repairs!
Working Directly On The Drain
When it comes to drainage issues it is very important to figure out exactly where the problem happens to be, coming from. Most homes and buildings have a very extensive piping system running through them, so that is a bit easier said than done. We have all of the necessary technology to be able to look at the entire system and spot the issue. Then we can go ahead and work directly on the clogged drain. Not every single handyman that calls himself a plumber will be able to get that done for you correctly. Be on the lookout for the fakes and don’t take the risk. We can help!
