For the most part, people are not too involved at first in the types of systems that their home or building runs on. Especially when you buy a home that has already been built. What we mean by that is that we know the type of water heater that a home has will not be a determining factor in buying the home or not! Most of the times people will try to work it out with what you have available. The thing is a lot of the older homes have systems that are equally as old. So you may be throwing a lot of money out the window by powering an older system and you may not know it yet!
What Type of Water Heater Do We Recommend?
There are different types of water heaters that come from a wide variety of manufacturers. We don’t want to get involved in giving any brand some free publicity here. Obviously, once we get a chance to talk directly to clients when we are hired to provide this particular service we may go into brands and sizes and things like that. In this case, we are just going to concentrate on electric water heaters or gas-powered heaters. There a lot of old myths in this comparison that are still going around. A lot of the old school guys will not touch electric water heaters because they feel you don’t get the power that you need!
Size Does Matter
We want to stay on the power subject here. The size of the heater will have to be directly proportional to the size of the home that you need it to give service to. It really does not matter much in this case whether the heater is electric powered or not. A lot of times we have gotten people who complain about the fact that the heater does not work properly. That is usually because it does not provide enough power to be able to give every room in the house simultaneous hot water!
How Does The Installation Process Work?
In talking about water heaters in general we have gotten a little bit away from what should be the main subject on this page so let us get a chance to get back to that right here. There is a couple of ways we make this work. You either go out and buy a water heater from your local home improvement store and have us install it or we help you in the shopping process!
Going Through The Shopping Process
We usually like helping people pick out their water heater because we can let them know what type of water heater will fit their home best. This goes for size, quality and all of the different ins and out about water heaters that we can probably tell you that your local store attendant may not be able to. Our goal will be to find the right type of water heater that we know can handle the amount of water that is going to be required for your home at the best price. We are also offering residential heating and cooling service.
